The midnight dancer follows the sound
Of my wilted cries inside the night
The midnight dancer is all around,
The midnight dancer is alive.
The midnight dancer waits in calm,
Waits to take me away.
Away from everything that hurts me so,
away from all the pain.
The midnight dancer reaches out
And asks me, politely, to dance
To spin away the lost control,
the Dancer takes its chance
I spin like a Prima ballerina
I dance over the memories of my life
On the dock of the dark marina
We dance into the night
But so tired was I after this dance,
I slipped into a deep sleep
And it was then, in my darkest hour
